The data is published as it is being received from OPORA observes that are present at every polling station in these cities during voting and vote tabulation and are conducting parallel vote count. The data for parallel vote count is being taken directly from the precinct election commissions’ protocols.
With the help of a filter, users may choose a specific city and view results for mayoral or city council elections. The information is displayed in three different tabs. “Election totals” tab displays the results of candidates or parties in selected cities. The “Results per polling station” displays election results for each polling station in a form of a table. In case significant violations have been recorded at a specific polling station, OPORA may choose “not to trust” these results. Such polling stations are highlighted red. The polling stations data for which has not been received are highlighted white.
The third tab – “Analysis” – displays election results as graphs, where data is plotted based on statistical analysis of turnout and results of mayoral candidates or parties running for city councils. These graphs allow one to identify “peculiar” polling stations.
